||This position assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac diseases in the Cath/Electrophysiology labs, specializing in EP devices and ablations. The Electrophysiology Technologist promotes awareness to patients, peers, and the community. The EP Technologist is responsible for the operation of physiologic and radiographic equipment while working in an invasive procedure area. The position will function in the following roles: scrub, circulate, and record. The EP Technologist proactively collaborates with all disciplines for well-coordinated care. This position requires active participation in department and organizational performance improvement activities in accordance with hospital, JCAHO, and regulatory standards. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
